When trying to decide what to call this labor of love, I turned to the brilliant and insightful people in my life. Family and friends of all ages and inclination offered their amazing insight that lead to "Fireflies and Magnolia."
The quest was set to find a name that somehow captured the familiar feeling of those magical memories from our lifetime. Family gatherings, celebrations with friends, childhood, marriage.... How to refer to your friend in photography who could not only take your photographs, but could also literally take the pictures, and without hassle, hemming and hawing- provide you with a treasured keepsake that captures the essence of your journey.
With much intention and thought: "Fireflies and Magnolia" became the clear choice. What else did my clever and witty family and friends have to say about it?
